I have been on a bit of a spending spree with mixers lately, i need to get to a PA eqipment annoymenous group.

I have just got the Mackie VLZ 802 after been impressed with the Behringer 802 and the Mackie to me sounded great, nice and clean . Lots of headroom and good clarity.
I kow folks here ar not great fans of the VLZ series
Ideal for live situations to my ears.

Though may not be the same for recording purposes.

I'm not sure they have an AA group for buying too much PA equipment. But I know someone else who should join you if you start one.

Almost any mixer will work for typical live sound gigs if it has the features you need. I mean, I doubt you will notice the slight hiss of a cheap mixer in a noisy nightclub or bar.

Road-worthiness is a different story, though. You should lean toward the best quality that you can afford.

Thanks Depth.

Your right there , the more money you spend the more reliable it will be hopefully.
