Mackie Onyx i1620 vs. Profire 2626?

I'm not 100% positive if this should be in this forum (Profire 2626 is a rack unit, so I figured it fit), but I'm curious...
The Mackie i1620 is only $200 more than the Profire. Should I purchase that instead of the Profire 2626?
This is what I've learned...

i1620:
Pros-Inserts on all channels, can be used for live sound as well as recording, 4 Pre/Post fade Aux sends, sweepable mid-EQ, +48v on each individual channel
Cons- Extra $200

Profire 2626- Records 24-bit, 192kHz (the Mackie is only 96kHz, but I'm not sure if that's going to make a HUGE sound difference), potential to hook together 3 for 26x26 I/O.
Cons-Phantom power set to 1-4 and 5-8 (on the off chance that I don't want phantom power on all 4 channels)

It seems to me like the Mackie is all around better for just an extra $200... But what about the Pre-amps? Do any of you know whether Onyx or Octane could be argued as being "better?"
By that, I mean general terms, like lower noise floor, and also subjective terms, such as warmer, etc.
