Mackie 1604-vlz and 2 ADATs??

In my old age, I'm so technically challenged. The way I see it, you cant use a Mackie 1604 vlz pro, with 2 xt20 ADATS- right? At least, not using the +4 db multi-pin connector??

Any help please?

I've used a 1604 and 2x Blackface with the +4 inputs.. worked fine.
