$200
shipping is probably $50 or something as i'm in brazil, but it may be a lot less. i have to check.
the mixer is in perfect condition. i rarely use it. includes powercord, but no manual.

anyone?

i really need some cash, guys, so level with me here. is it too expensive? shipping too expensive? nodoby trusts a guy from abroad? are you afraid the unit won't work? we can use an escrow service if you want.

Is it the VLZ model or the orginal??

Is there anything wrong with it?? are all the knobs there??
Can you show me a picture of your mixer and not a pic off the net.

I'm interesed but I can get an original 1202 off ebay for $130
shipping is too much and i'll pay the escrow.

Think your shipping might be a bit low. Tough getting parcels in and out of Brasil without a curious postal worker removing its contents. May want to check out Sedex (Br version of Fedex). By the way, what town you in? And how'd you wind up down there?

bigboss,
i can get $130 here in brazil. i payed about $300 for it second hand, and i wouldn't like to lose that much money on it. i'm almost closing with a local buyer, but word has just come in that the place where we practice is closing down, so i'm seriously considering keeping the unit for my band's rehearsals. but thanks anyway for replying.

dcdoggy,
i was actually thinking of sending it via air mail, not through a carrier. sedex only ships within brazil. we have fedex and UPS offices here though. but that would be kind of expensive, but i figure about $50 anyway. i brought a guitar with a pretty big case through UPS for $200. the mixer is a LOT smaller than my guitar. anyway, i think i'll keep it for a little longer (see above).
btw, i'm in brasília, the capitol. what do you mean how did i wind up here? i was born here, 100% brasileiro. :)

For what it's worth, you might try Sedex again. My kids in Rio send everything to us up here in the States through them. Not sure it's cheaper, but seems to be very secure.

orig Mackie 1202 or VLZ?

pb--
i know you're gonna hang on to it now, but i'm curious too. is it the vlz or the original 1202 and if it's the 1202, how are the pre's? The vlz had some changes to the preamp section, but i'm wondering how much better they are.

i didn't know sedex shipped stuff abroad. i'll say 'oi' to djavan the next time i see him. ;) actually i did meet his drummer (pedro bala) once. the guy is a hell of musician.
the pres are the original ones, i think, but i'm not sure. i'll have to check. i haven't had first hand experience with the vlz, but the ones on my unit are pretty good. not better than my aardvark pres though.
