Hi there dear HomeRecording dude(s)!!!

I have an issue... im want to use my MacBook Pro to record in my studio.
the thing is that do already have some equipment.
Im running Pro Tools 9, have a Behringer Eurodesk 24ch and have two M-Audio Delta 1010 PCI cards.

Now my question is.... Could i buy some sort of interface to connect my MBP to my Behringer desk?
i found this interface: Audiointerface Presonus Firestudio LightPipe,
would that work? do i need a A/D D/A?

Kind regards, David:)

the eurodesk has direct outs per channel right?
So you want a usb or firewire interface with a bucketload of line ins?

If you like the firestudio, you could use it with a load of ada8000s, which would give you 8 line ins per ada8000.

If you're keeping the budget down as most are, you might look at a motu 828 which has 8 line ins built in, and one adat port allowing you to add an ada8000 or similar for 16 ins.

an alternative is the echo audiofire 12 if you can find one cheap.
This just has 12 line ins an outs. you can use more than one of these.
Two of these gives you 24 ins

The problem with the later is there's no output volume control so that has to be done ITB.
