mac midi question new to mac

i have just got a g4 apple mac running osx 10.4.11
when i plug the midiman radium 61 in via usb garage band and cubase le 4 both have midi connections (via usb driver)
interface is a m audio delta 24/96 which has midi connections
what i'd like to do is connect a keyboard or controller via the midi connectors (ie not usb)
how do i configure my mac to work from the m audio midi and not the usb driver
do i need a differant driver?
please help
im running a small home studio but i'd like to offer the opertunity for visiting musicians to use there own keyboard via the mac hence te need for proper midi connection rather than usb

guys i have sussed out what the problem was
i messed around with the devices in Utilitys audio midi set up and linked the devices to the sound card ports and bobs your uncle sorted
it took me near all day but it was worth it
