hey folks,
anyone out there using a mac daw? i could use some suggestions in setting up a mac daw.
i have a g4 350 mini-tower with mucho ram (300mb +), 10 & 8 gig hd's running at 7200, and an 18 gig hd running at 5400.
i'd like a card/breakout box with at least 4 analog i/o's, digital i/o (either spdif or toslink), and hopefully adat toslink i/o. i'm hoping to stay in the $300-500 range.
also, i want to get a cd burner. any suggestions? there are tons of cheap pc/win cd burners, but not many for mac. i have seen the "smart and friendly" brand for under $200, but... ?
