I am in the process of putting together a DAW on a mac G-4 platform. I would like to have a complete set up including mastering and CD burning. This is what I am looking at:
Digital Audio Software and breakout box: Digi 001 ($800)
Mastering and Cd Burning: Tascam CD-R Pro ($570)
I have also looked at the Motu 2408 (about $900) and a bunch of software ranging from $300 to $600.
Does anyone have a better set up for the money? I would appreciate all the feedback I can get.
