I've had my M312B's in storage for a while but decided to take them out, dust them off and take a few glamor shots of them seeing as the weather isn't too conducive to my normal outdoor, landscape photography pursuits.

Wow, Ghost...those are really nice. Wish I could do that...Tascam glam shots...yeah. Its not just the background work but the lighting used in the original capture. You must see the end product in your mind when are setting the shot because the contrasts are very effective. Hope it stays cold for awhile so you can do more Ghosty Gear Glam.

Thanks!

Yup! A lot of work goes into setting up each shot, metering the exposure to catch all the meters and lights and then using two different flash guns to fill in the rest of the shot. Then once taken, an ever longer time spent on each shot in Photoshop, getting the backgrounds created and everything tweaked to my original vision of how I want the shot to look. Loads and work and tons of fun, as I really enjoy the process. I also figured if anyone on earth would appreciate this stuff, it would be my old analog buds right here. ;)

Cheers! :)

Beautiful shots, Jeff!

I've always liked how you have the two 312's configured... an enviable setup indeed. :)

If you added a bikini model to those shots, Tascam would be able to start selling them again.

Nice work,

Thanks for the additional feedback on the shots guys...much appreciated! :)

Here's a couple more which are a bit on the "Esoteric" side.

Ha! Good one and .... true!:)

Say, Ghost, can we make a request for that bikini model (heck, no bikini is fine too:D)?

My lady-friend doesn't look too good in a bikini these days. :o

If you guys want to send over a young sexy model, I'll be sure to accommodate you! :D

Cheers! :)

WOW, Jeff. Those are beautiful pics. Like the others said the lighting is amazing.

Hey if you are looking for girls to come get their pictures taken at the drop of a hat you could always try modelmayhem.com. A friend of mine was a photographer there for awhile and the chicks just line right up. You gotta deal with youth and beauty though, which for some reason almost always causes idiocy, but hey... some guys can tolerate any amount of BS as long as its coming from somethin pretty!

But anyways... awesome mixer.

But, I want to keep my current "model" even though her best bikini days are behind her. ;)

Cheers! :)

Killer Pics Ghost!!

I really dig those shots!! I just got my 312B a few months back and couldn't be happier... so happy I purchased a 22-2 to go with it. This forum kicks ass!

I was motivated last month by a thread here and refurbished the panels and padding on my 312b, doesn't compare to these shots but... I wanted to share my 312B, maybe we can see some more.

Happy Holiday's to all!

soulsainc,

Thanks and very respectable pics there from you too! I like the mods you did to yours though, the arm rest looks pretty puffy...guess it actually offers real comfort now as the originals had only the visual illusion of being soft. ;)

Anyway, I've got two more shots to post; the first a simple nameplate close up and a larger new version of the floating console suitable for desktop wallpaper for those with a 22" monitor.
