The M-Audiosport Duo is priced at 259.99 at musicians friend, and I was wondering how good of a buy this is for a mic hook up and a couple 1/4"s. Anyone have any experience with it? Thanks.
Unless you have to use usb, almost everyone on this fourm would advice against it. The main problem with usb is bandwidth. With usb you can only record two tracks at once. Also it is much more expensive then a comparable internal card. I recommend you take a look at m-audio's line of sound cards....
the 24/96 delta 44 delta 66, the 10/10 there is alot of great cards out there for you to choose from based on your budget and how many i/o u require....
