M-Audio vs. Yamaha

I'm comparing the M-Audio 61es and the Yamaha PSR275, for a beginner. The M-Audio looks a lot cleaner, and since I'm going to run the MIDI signal through my PC with external speakers, I don't want/need the speakers built into the keyboard.

Your question doesn't make any sense. The PSR275 is a portable digital keyboard with sounds and speakers. The M-Audio 61ES is a keyboard controller. It doesn't have speakers or produce any sounds of its own. That might explain its "cleaner" look. :confused:

i would be confident in any midi controller offered by m-audio. i have the oxygen 8 and it is awesome
 
I use the Midiman (m-Audio) Radium. I have been happy with it, not problems there. I wouldn't buy any of their audio cards, though.
