M Audio Ozone Probelm with Cubase SX

Hello,
I'm using an M-Audio Ozone with Cubase SX via USB with my Laptop. Im having no problems recording MIDI but when I plug my guitar into the Instrument Input I get no activity in Cubase even though the Sig in on the Ozone shows there is activity. I have looked at the device setup and the Ozone is selected as input and output.
I'm snookered, can anyone help me?

m-audio with cubase sx

hi,
i'm using an m-audio ozone with cubase sx too. I have no problem to recording guitar. I think that your ASIO driver it wrong. Go to the device panel, click device setup and click vst multitrack. Click the ASIO driver and select your M-Audio Ozone ASIO. It will be working.

Now I have a problem too with my m-audio ozone, and i wanna know if you can help me. How can i doing to controling my vst instruments with m-audio ozone. How can i set this. does i have to connect a midi cable on my computer to m-audio midi out???
