What is this noise.

I made a noise thread.. but it was too long a story. So I deleted it

Here's a recording of my piano. The piano barely makes it over the buzzing.
(And I almost pushed it into the soundboard, so out-signaling background noise should be easy)

Any idea what this could be? Because I'm at wits end.

I don't hear anything in that test sample I'd describe as a "buzz" and certainly nothing that comes close to drowning out the piano.

I do notice a couple of problems--there are a few clipped samples in there which suggest to me you may be tracking at too high a level. Also, I can definitely hear some mechanical noise/vibration from the piano itself, possibly from being as close as you describe to the sound board.

Maybe your use of "buzz" is just imprecision in the English language but, if you really are hearing a buzz could it be a monitoring issue, not a recording one?
