M-Audio Mobile Pre USB question.

I understand this is USB powered but does it use USB to transmit the audio signal as well???
If so I think I found my match!!
 
you may want to research this product a bit. My friend got one and had alot of trouble getting it working properly. I can't remember the exact trouble he had but it pissed him off enough to get online to try and solve it. After doing some searches/posting on boards he found out that he was not the only one having problems with this unit. Just a thought, it may work fine for you.
 
I had a bit of issues getting to work with n-track. But all is well now. The downside is that I have to use the MME wave mapper.
