M Audio interfaces & Sonar?

Im picking up sonar home studio XL and i was looking at the m-audio profire 610 interface, now i was wondering, with the way m-audio and protools are colaberated alot of their equipment only works for one another, m-audio this for m audio pro tools etc. would i be able to use this interface with the sonar daw system?

Yes, it will work fine. For Sonar will work with any interface that has good ASIO drivers. It also works with WDM drivers but is best with ASIO

hello, please i really need help with my M AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO.i just got it and i already had a condenser mic BEHRINGER B1 for almost 3 months and av not used it.i tried connecting my B1 to my M AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO but the signal light does not blink but when i put my dynamic mic to it it works fine.....pls guys i need your help.....thanks in advance

The Behringer B1 requires phantom power. If I had to guess, I would say your not enabling the phantom power on your Fast Track Pro for that mic.....Dynamic mics do not require phantom power so that is why when you switch, it would work..
