If I connect an M-Audio Firewire 1814

through a PCI Firewire port

Will I be able to record multiple tracks seperately using cubase?
 
I was pretty sure I just saw some guy who put his recordings through another interface and he said that was what he used to convert anologue to digital and I didnt wanna spend £200 on somthing that didn't do what I wanted it too
