Hey guys, I am seriously looking into the Delta 44 soundcard for my system. But I would like some input on how it works with some stuff...

First of all...
Does it work well with capturing heavily distorted guitar?

And the only other thing is...
Does anyone know if it works well with the Steinberg Nuendo program?
That is my multitrack program of choice right now...

This is pretty much an irrelevant issue, it depends entirely on your signal chain before the ADC (analog-to-digital converter). Any decent soundcard with a reasonably good ADC will work equally well.

Don't know anything about how well it behaves with Nuendo, sorry...

Hmmm... okay then let me re-phrase that...

Does it have a good ADC?
Will I get better sound quality than my SB Live?

Disposable,

You are truly a moron if you expect anyone in here to believe that you actually purchased a highend DAW workstation like Nuendo and then decided to use your new purchase with a $1.98 SoundBlaster Live card.

You really need to learn to not show your entire hand of cards before posting your BS in here.

Haha... that's fine if you don't believe I have Nuendo.
I have the old version. Show my entire hand of hards???

Anyways...

I bought a Delta 44...

And am having trouble getting it set up with Nuendo. Any tips?

Oh - I believe you HAVE it alright...it's how you got it that irks the crap out of me. And I don't care which version you have. I have a real problem with folks who obviously steal stuff and then come in here asking for help.

As as far as showing your cards...are you a complete retard? Or just partial? Do you have any idea how much Nuendo costs? How could you even attempt to use this program with a Soundblaster....

You see...when I see Nuendo and Soundblaster in the same paragraph - I can 99.99% guarantee I am addressing someone who knows absolutely nothing about pro audio.

If you can afford Nuendo...you certainly will know how to get the Delta working with it.

Here's my tip for ya - Buy your software and then buy a brain.

Good luck, warez boy.

Buy a brain huh? How much do those cost nowadays?
It's been a while since my last one.
From the looks of it Cuzin's is up for auction..

Not getting too much for it, though.

And just one more thing... is there a reason that you automatically assumed that it was a stolen copy? Wouldn't it be possible that it was a demo? Just wondering, do you automatically assume that anyone with a higher end program stole it?

Disposable,

1. What I assume is up to me. Nuendo is $1500.00 USD. A SB Live is like 40 cents... you do the math....your request makes no sense.

2. Not possible. Steinberg has never offered one on Nuendo. The only demo you will ever get is through an authorized dealer. And you have to go down to the dealer and watch the demo on their gear. The dealer won;t be using a SB Live to demo it either.

3. Generally anyone who would take the effort, cash and kno-how to buy, use and learn Nuendo would not be trolling around here asking how to set up a soundcard against it....that's like saying "I just bought a new Ferrari...could someone here show me how to put gas in it?

You have been called out. Sorry.

Haha, that's funny.

Here's how it is...
Cubasis came with my SB Live card...
Cubasis is almost exactly the same as Nuendo...
just really stripped down...

Now tell me...
If I learned Cubasis, wouldn't that say that I had a handle on how to use Nuendo?

The "know-how" question is taken care of...

Now on to "effort"...
Seriously how much effort does it take to buy a program?

And "cash"...
How do you know what my financial situation is?
For all you know I won a few million in the lottery

You can assume all you want but...
Assumptions are not always true...

I'm done arguing with you.
I would delete the whole post but... it won't let me...
This isn't what this forum is for...
I just wanted advice and, well,
if you didn't have any advise you shoulda kept your "mouth" shut

And yes I did delete some of my posts...
Though you quoted most of them...

So anyways...
if anyone wants to get back to the real topic of this post ...
