Hi looking at one of these for my recording studio just wondering if anyone knows if this device lets me select which input i want to record from or does it record all the inputs that are plugged into it. thanks alot

Generally the case with any audio interface is that you set up your inputs in the software (Cubase/Protools/Reaper/Whatever). You create a software input, and tell it what hardware input goes into it.

So the sort answer to your question is 'yes, absolutely'. I have a Delta 44 and it's a damn good card too, and a decent price.

Yep.

I have a Delta66 which uses the same patch box (only difference is mine has a pair of digital inputs on the computer card as well). You can record up to four signals simultaneously with the Delta44. You do need to go to your recording application settings and identify which channel will go where, as with any other interface. Every recording application will have some way to arm a track for recording, and that is how you pick and choose what you record. It would be a good thing to go to the M-Audio site and download the latest driver in case you are working with an older one.

I've had zero problems with this interface in many years of fairly regular use. I've found it to be rock solid and very quiet.
