Hello, i'm a norwegian guy who exchanged a lexicon multieffect into a delta 1010lt soundcard.

When i had it all set up, there was NO INPUT SIGNAL.

No moving meters on the computer-mixer or anything.

I am using Cubase SX and running Windows XP Professional.

But the output signal works fine, on the mixers meters too.

I have tried line-ins and the microphonepreamps, but no signal.

I really feel for a recording session real soon, so, somebody PLEASE HELP ME!

Are your drivers updated? Goto the m-audio website and check.
Have you selected the correct inputs in Cubase?
Are signals getting to the 1010 (meter indication on 1010 control panel)? Any inputs muted? Record enabled in cubase? Are you using a mic or line in? There are jumpers on the Delta card that have to be set correctly (see manual). U may be trying to record with a mic at line level if the jumpers are not properly set. Are you using the correct type of mic...the 1010 does not have phantom power for condensor mics? Just some of many answers....and questions?

Check on all and i have tried line-in inputs too.. no meters moving on the controlpanel except on playback/output.
Then it's maybe the jumpers then?

Thank you.

Like the other guy said make sure you have phatom power if your using a condensor mic. If your not sure just plug a dynamic mic into one of the 2 mic inputs. Go to audio card control panel and look for some sign of a signal.
If you still don't see anything then go to the 3rd or 4th tab and make sure your volume sliders for input are up all the way and your operation level +4 -10 are set to match any existing hardware.

You might want to make sure any onboard audio cards are disabled and that you Delta is set up as the default. Might be a good time to disable windows sound too.

What operating system are you using?
