I meant to post this a while ago but slacked.

I purchased on E-Bay a delta 1010, supposedly like new, never used, mint condition ETC. I hooked the thing up and spent a couple days trouble shooting before realizing I'd been screwed and the breakout box was DOA. I called M-Audio and they said they could fix it, but it was not under warranty so i'd be charged for parts and labor and shipping. They also said they would have it in their shop for ten days and would call with an estimate. After seven days i hadn't heard from them so I was about to call when the doorbell rang and Mr. Brown from UPS was handing my Delta 1010 back to me, fully repaired at NO CHARGE not even shipping.

Pretty good of them I thought. Also has me leaning more towards the BX8's for monitors.
 
I've had the same good response--quick and thorough--from M-Audio when I've contacted them (tiwce) with questions.

I have bx8's from ebay. glad to hear your story -- comfort.
