Hi,
If getting a sound card for a laptop, which should I get (I have a budget of around $175.) I will only need 2 vocal tracks, 3 acoustic guitar tracks and a few others...all recorded seperately though. I basically want the best sound quality for the money...which one should I opt for? I heard theres a nice digigram vxpocket model like the echo indigo too. I'm confused about all this anyway...any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Simon

I believe the vx-pocket is more expensive - need to check whether it has the right low-latency drivers for your software too. It's an older card, don't know if they've kept up.

I've heard a lot of Audiophile USB gripes - you might want to wait for a USB 2.0 version.

I haven't seen an indigo review yet. Sounds promising though.
