M-Audio Audiophile 2496 Feedback problem HELP

As you all know.. Soundcard problems could kill your studio.

Well, when im inside programs or just playing music period through the soundcard it freezes after a couple minutes of playing. When it freezes it gives me a BUZZING sound also freezes the computer.

I've downloaded and installed all drivers.

Is there something im doing wrong inside the configuration or something.

Please let me know

What hardware do you use? Software? OS?

Athlon XP 1.67 Gig Processor
80 Gig Harddrive
256 DDR Ram at the moment.

Studio:

Sonar
Reason

other small programs

Sound card freezes when listening to anything really.

What motherboard chipset? KT133 or KT266?

They're known to not work well with the Audiophile...
