M-Audio 410 Going Mental

Hi All,

I currently have a firewire 410 with my Asus notebook With Vista that has a RICOH Firewire controller on board.

I have been experiencing some issues with what I believe to be glitching and popping. I have been trying to push my luck with it and was playing a song in winamp and right clicking on a file. Each time the audio would cut out and start again. Finally after the 5 time the audio play back stop and the music file stopped completely in winamp.

I am considering purchasing a USB interface purely for the portability but this incident urks me a little.

Can anyone offer any advise or has had any similar experiences?

Vista!

Vista Drivers. I know for a fact M-Audio are having real trouble with Vista, as are MOTU and many others! Check M-audios website for new drivers, and make sure you completely destroy the old drivers before adding new ones.

I'm finding I'm having the same experience with right click when my normal on board sound card is enabled?
