Each unit has a pair of switchable input transformers, one iron, one nickel. The output transformer is stock iron, but can be changed to nickel easily with a screwdriver.
That gives four different input/output transformer combinations.
It also has a variable mic impedence which further allows you to change tones. If that's not enough there's a THD switch for even more 'color'.
This thing has a virtual rainbow of tones available. First 50 to order gets a free nickel output transformer with each unit.
