Hey all,
I'm setting up a home studio type thing and was wondering if a good soundcard to purchase would be the Lucid ADA1000? Also, i'm considering the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz because it is considerably cheaper. Any advice on this would be much appreciated. To give you an idea of the other equipment I am wanting to use I will show below:

Mic: AKG C-1000S or Shure 57sm (can't decide between the two at the moment...would ideally like the akg but it is more expensive.)

Mixer: Behringer mx602A

PC software: Adobe Audition or n-track

Plus all the cables etc.
Thanks,
Simon

The Lucid is for transfers only and far better than a Santa Cruz

What would be the best card for recording and recording w/playback when working on a budget? (e.g. under $80.)
