i am running two adats, wanting to expand to four. Will i need a brc, or can i use the lrc to control a maximum of four? Can i use the lrc for two?

It will operate all four machines in tandem, but the LRC just mimics the transport and several locations... the BRC is far more comprehensive.

Like Bruce said, it'll controll the transport (play, record, etc). You just have to arm individual tracks directly from the ADATs.
