low volume on audiomixdown

when a do audiomixdown and make an mp3 out of it. the volume is very low. when i play it in cubase the volume is allright. the master volume is high.

Do anybody know what the problem is?

This is something which tends to happen to an audio mixdown. it's easily sorted by importing the file into cubase or wavelab and normalising it to bring the level back up. Is there a reason you are mixing it down to an mp3? I would advise if you are mixing down to put on cd to mix it to a wav file as they are better quality. You can then convert to an mp3 later if you wish.

I mixdown to mp3 so I can send the file (not as big as wav files) easily to people.

I'll try to do what you told me. I'll let you know if it works...
