low-fi drum hits

i was wondering if anyone knows how to create or where to find death cab for cutie style electronic drum sounds (like title and registration).

I don't know the exact sound you are revering too much lo-fi'ing drums is one of the most fun and most creative things you can do imho. Take any low and hi-pass filter, a distortion plugin, a bit crusher or even a guitar amp emulation plugin and start twisting some knobs! I personally love the QuadraFuzz plugin that comes with Cubase but anything will work.
