Hey Van Halen meets Robert Plant.Good solid tune.I like the keys and the guitars.I can't really tell as I listen on my computer speakers but there seems to lack low end to a degree --The bass drum especially seems to lack here--Great synth break --Very cool lead break at the end.

Hey cool stuff man. Has a real classic rock vibe to it. The intro riff also really reminded me "Dance on Stilts" by Blue Oyster Cult.
I'm probably the last person to be giving vocal advise, but it sounds like they could fit a bit better. Maybe raise them a tad or do a little EQ work.
The synth is rad ;)
Very catchy stuff.
I agree with the dude above, maybe raise the bottom end/bass guitar a tad.
The solo is neat, sounds like a synth at times (maybe it is?)
nice work!

I like the feel of this song! I love the rhythm guitar. I'd like to hear more details on what you did to record it and the equipment used. I agree with "dolod44" about the absence of the kick. A bunch of late 70s music also had this characteristic, so it sounds a bit dated. On my cheap monitors, I can hear the bass just fine, although it's not very rich sounding.

The lead guitar does sound Van Halenesqe, which in itself isn't either good or bad, and the way it morphs from a guitar sound to a synth and back is pretty unique, at least to me.

I thinks it's a pretty cool song!

New Mix "Love's All Around"

Thanks for the replies! Here is a remix because I agree about the kick and bass not really being prominent. The reason is that my mixes are pretty bottom heavy and I guess I over compensated. I have some cheap computer speakers that I am mixing on and I use headphones some too.
I also brought the vox up in the mix.

I did this song as an online collaboration. I did all the guitars and was the song creator. A guy from Scotland did the lyrics and vox. The drums are real from some guy in Canada. A guy in Portugal did all the keys. A guy from the U.K. did the bass. I recorded the guitar parts on my Zoom MRS1044 (16bit) I used N-Track to do the mix.

The solos at the end are synth at times and guitar. What makes the guitar sound sort of like synth is the reverse delay. Also Floyd rose tremolo and Cry Baby wah are used at times.

Again......thanks for taking the time to listen and critque! ;)

Very cool guitar right off the bat. Drums do seem to be lacking. I assume it's just in the mix. They could use a bit of a boost. I hear all the parts, maybe just some low end boost? I know how hard they can be. I really like the bass line. I'd like to hear it a bit more prominent myself, but they may not fit. Vocals seem to sit well. They actually have a nice tone. All in all, good tune. Could probably use a bit of minor tweaking, but is a very solid mix. Way above my current stuff. Nice job.

Yeah, I can hear the difference in the mixes...sounds heaps better the second time. Well recorded, awesome

Man this song is super catchy... it can't help but put you in a good mood. By the way the new mix sounds good. I definitely hear more bass in there. Man, and that guitar intro cranked up sounds excellent. Nice work here.
