Lovely drum sounds

Hey guys,

Just fell in love with this song and been wondering about the drums and percussion used in it:

Anybody happen to know what type/where these percussion sounds come from? Especially the snare (comes in at 1:10) in the song.. reminds me a lot of Aphex Twin and been wanting to get something which sounds similar for a while now.

It's a safe bet that they weren't made by anything other then someone hitting a key or whatever. Pick a drum synth of your choice. It sounds like a Casio drum machine from the 80's.
 
Those aren't drums .

Plus that song almost gave me diabetes , glad I killed as soon as I did.

mobodcubism- that was just a joke, you never have to explain or apologize for what you like. That said, I will be placing condoms over my ears before I ever click on another youtube link you post.
 
This used to be such a fun place...

The song is a bit sugary, but those are definitely e-drums. You can do some pretty amazing things with e-drums and the right mixing techniques. Most EDM works that way.
