I think you should have a look at some other reverbs, this one sounds really hissy and grainy on the vocals.
Really nice guitar playing! - maybe they would benefit from a little less reverb, and being just a touch louder in the mix?

I would be tempted to do a little more work on getting the vocal level to sit just perfectly - I think some automation would help a lot with the phrasing etc

(p.s. I was expecting this to be a travesty, but was pleasantly surprised! :) )

Hi Colbaltaudio
Thanks for your advice . Yes the hissing does seem to be problem. I will ask my freind who mixed it to redo the mix and as you said change the verbs a bit too.
Thanks for your encouragement too on your ps note.

I've checked out your website. Its Excellent some great links too.

he reverb is the only real issue. A pretty song sung with sinicerity is usually going to work. that you risked such a classic/standrd says a heap about your confidence.
There are a few elocution/pronounciation/ that could be addressedd to make the song even better:
You could work on your Th sound (dem comes through rather than them etc) what a comes through as waddah etc etc. Little things that, if worked on over time, will lift the perfomance even more.
Now, if you actually have serious trouble with those things and addressing them reduces your intimate reading of a lyric - please ignore.
Lovely performance - now fix that reverb mate!!!!
