Lost power cord for Yamaha MT120. Anyone know where to find?

I bought this 4-Track Recorder in 1990 and loved it. Used it for years to record a ton of stuff. I packed it away when I moved in 1999. Just got it out again and I can't seem to find the power cord anywhere. Yamaha's site isn't helpful, since it doesn't recognize older, out-dated model numbers. Found a PDF of the service manual. I think the part number is VC1426000. Any ideas where to find? Could another cord work? The port for it is shaped so that a similar cord won't fit, and the voltage isn't correct (calls for 120V and the cord for my portable radio is 125V). If I cut the plastic to make it fit, would it do any damage to the unit?

Whoa, that's a blast from the past.
My first ever recording was with an mt120.

I'm going on memory here, so I could be wrong, but I don't recall it having a unique power supply cable.

I think it was the standard 'figure 8' mains cable. You know the type I mean?

RE the 125v radio. Unless there's a transformer of some kind, the appliance is just running on whatever your local mains supply is.
If my memory is right, the MT120 will do the same thing.

Thanks, you helped tremendously! Just by typing "figure 8". I guess that type of socket/plug is not as common here across the pond. But when I read your response I immediately recognized the shape of the socket and was relieved to know that I would be able to find a replacement.
I was struggling to find it on the web, yet after I typed in "figure 8", dozens of sites came up with pictures of exactly what I am looking for!
I can't wait to hear some of the stuff I never got around to mix down.
Thanks again Steenamaroo.
