Hello! Hey, I can record an audio (or midi) loop of let's say two measures in a project. Then I can repeat the loop over and over again for a 3-minute track. I can also just play a sound I want continuously without using loops for the same sound for my 3-minute track.
Which way uses less computer resources for that track? I'm thinking if I record a lot of tracks for one project (audio and midi), that taxes your system in terms of speed, RAM, etc. Which way is better to go if you repeat some sounds on different tracks throughout the song and need to conserve on computer resources? Continous play and no loops for each track, or using loops that you repeat on those same tracks?
Or does it really matter in terms of how your computer has to "work" with those combined tracks when your record them or play them back together all at once?
