Compressing goo takes special equipment. You can look into used stuff from scientific companies. or...

Let the gooping begin. Modern day marine bedding compounds can work miracles against the many stresses of the marine environment, provided a few simple selection criteria are followed.

I strongly suggest looking into a Behringer Compressor. Got mine for around $99 brand spanking new and it works like a charm!

i cant believe i actually did a google search for goo compressors....

Every one needs a goo compressor. I am thinking of manufacturing my own and selling them out of my house. I think it will resemble something like the spaghetti factory play-doh set.

if you want something dedicated to heavy synth i would go for the ashly sc-50.

it is a "mojo" piece. it distorts slightly and pleasantly, changes the frequencies. great thickening device. i run all my synths thru it, and am very happy. it is a tad noisy if you abuse it. watch that gain knob!

do a search on it on google groups. people love the shit out of it. especially for lead instruments (which i would classify synth as).

$99 right now at music go round.

oh and it works pretty nicely for drum machines too! sort of a two trick pony with them. (if you get the sc-50 with the limiter button, otherwise it is a one trick pony)

when you push the box with the limiter circuit on, it does all sorts of crazy thing. the compressor is a bit tamer.

There is nothing wrong with casio, I use mine all the time in the closet, it collects the dust really nicely.

Ser'ly, go for an RNC.............or.......... if you're on a stone,cold,
Rahman Noodles and PBJ sam'iches budget, peep the Behringer's
Composer Pro! One of ONLY 3 products Beh has made that are decent and useful (the other 2 being the AutoCom & the ECM8000 omni).

Skyy38, I mean absolutly no disrespect to you on your suggestion!

It's just that whenever some-1 mentions either the NanoComp or NanoVerb it brings up funny memories of wayyyy earlier threads a few years back where peeps were seeking opinions on either unit and Cuzzin' Brucie Blue Bear, prev'ly reg'd under "bvaleria" at the time, would respond with his patented reply, "JUST SAY Na-NO!!!" :D :p :D
