Suck 'em and see!
I'm looking for an XLR(m) goosneck talkback mic that doesn't need phantom power to plug into my Soundtracs Topaz Project 8 board
Any cheap solutions out there?

pandamonk said:Yup, here for £20. It's £7 shipping though, but that is for everything you buy, so don't just buy the mic

Thomann are amazing!! £7 shipping on everything you buy as long as it ain't something huge like a piano. I have 4 t.bone mics, lol. Use them for live. Sounds as good as any other mic(for live use anyway). I ordered £400+ of equipment for my PA from thomann(including stage monitors, etc). It was all the cheapest stuff i could find on the net. The order arrived within 4-5 days like they said. Ok, one of the monitors failed to work, but i told them about it and they were extremely appologetic and arranged to have the couriers come pick it back up and take it back to Germany and they will ship out a new one as soon as they receive it, no extra cost. Must've cost them a bunch to do.LemonTree said:I've heard some horror storied about ordering from Thomann plus it's their own brand of mic... T-Bone which I've tried a few of and never ever liked to £27 inc. Shipping is a bit pricey.
pandamonk said:Plus, yours is only for a talkback mic.
pandamonk said:I wouldn't call it a horror story. Who cares, they're a great company in my opinion. It can happen with any company.
pandamonk said:No probs. Where do you go locally? Only good musical shop I really know in Glezga is McCormacks, but i don't think they have much in the way of recording equipment(that I've noticed anyway)
