looking for very small pocket recorder

Hi guys - I just need something very small to dictate notes...sound quality not that important. I've been using a sansa clip mp3 player & it's great - about the size of a matchbook - but they only hold up about 2 years. Any ideas? thanks.

i use my phone to jot down any ideas,gotta carry it with me anyway so less chance of it being left behind somewhere
