looking for opinions...

im not really looking for opinions of the recording quality cause its not very good and it was recorded with one mic, but everything is pretty clear, its just not very good. download it if you want and tell me what you think of the music. thats all im asking, i just would like people's opinions of it. thanks..

our name is "I Killed Midnight". we think its a pretty cool name. and by the way, our music style is alt rock i guess. if you like bands like a perfect circle, tool, failure you might find interest in that song. we are writeing other songs with different influences, but that is the only one we have recorded as of yet. thanks for anyone's response.

OK, here goes.

Your drummer sounds pretty good but tell him to lay off that high-hat...

Your singer, although barely audible, sounds out of tune at times.

Your bass player was all over the map on the solo. Get him to learn that part before recording again.

Seriously, the recording quality is so bad it's almost impossible to give a sensible review. All I can hear at times is open high-hat

I think you guys have got something going BUT...........
These recordings are simply un-listenable.
I would like to see you guys live.
If you don't want to learn recording, you should go to someone who already knows and get them to record you.

The music ROCKS and I think you NEED to get properly recorded.
At least move the mike further away from the drummer, the guys an animal
I like the guitar work too.

like i said i wasnt looking for judgement on the sound quality cause i know its horrible. nothing i can do about that right now, eventually we'll get something decent when i have the money for the equipment. but its nice to know people liked it. and our bassist isnt very good so it takes him time to learn the song, but next practice we have we're record it again cause he knows the parts now. anyway.....

its only a 3 peice, im playing guitar and singing...and im glad people like it. and my vocals, i need a lot of work on. i dont think i have a naturally good voice, so its taken me about 2 years of just singing all the time with no lessons to improve. but thanks for the comments and keep them coming.
