Hey all, while I know this mix is a far cry from where I want it to be, I think it's better than anything I've mixed in the past. I already have a few issues about it, but I would like some more opinions if anyway possible. The one reason I think it's a better mix than my previous attempts is, I took a lot more time in the tracking process...better levels, watching for clips, eq, compression if needed etc. where as before I just wanted to record the freaking song already!:D I up-loaded it at garabageband.com (didn't want to) but no where radio wasn't taking on anything new at the moment. I would hope you could take the time to D/L it cause the damn streaming just sounds like mush. The name of the song is "I never Dreamed" I'm really only interested in what you think of the quality, and what I need to do in the mix, as far as the song goes it's total history. Thanks in advance for any help...David

I liked the song once I stopped myself from singing "knock knock knocking on heavens door".....and its hard to comment on the mix at 64.1kps......is there anyway to get it at a higher bitrate?....from what I heard, everything seemed to be pretty tight and in place, but again, hard to judge....

seems like you think you nailed this mix but my fav is still "Cajun Girl"...

Hey Gidge thanks for your time. 64.1kps is what they encode at once you upload. LOL the damn thing does sound like Knocking on Heavens door, oh well I said it was history anyway. Thanks man!

Fine vocal performance I thought. You sound a little like the guy for the guess who at times. Ditto about the mix, sounded very good from what I could tell.

Nice tune

Hey thanks for listening and the kind words Ray. I just realized you have to be a member of g/b and be logged in to d/l an MP3, my bad.

Loved the song. Would like to hear the vocal more out front, though. Lot of feeling in that vocal, get it out there!
