Im going to L.A. in the near future, and want to buy a cool guitar, (probably not to play), just to hang on my studio wall... Does anyone know of any places that has signed ones, or other memorabilia type guitars..... Any help would be appreciated... (Hollywood, Santa Monica, Bev hills... that area)

You Bastard,

How dare you gloat and buy guitars 'just to hang up on the wall' while I have to play and record every day with my beat up Epiphone.

Sod Off!

Gloating?.. I rather call it being proud of being responsible enough to hold a good job that can afford me these "luxuries"....I don't know if you know much about memorablilia, but most signed guitars are $129.00 Fender Squires... about a quarter of the cost of your $450.00 epiphone... You pay for the signature. When it comes to playing, I would take your beat up Ep anyday:)

That's curious, why do people use budget guitars to sign? I mean what's the point?

Cause, people who have guitars signed take care of them, and don't play them, usually they hang on a wall or some other safe place.. who wants to have a USA strat hanging on there wall collecting dust at $1400.00 when you can have the same (style of body) (squire) for $129.00.. most people won't care about the origin of the fender,it is the signature they will be drooling over....

I don't know if you can still find it, but a sunburst Strat that Jimi Hendrix played just went for $200,000+ on ebay. Hang that one up!
They had a Les Paul signed by Mick Jaggar too. It was $10,000 the last I saw.
If it's worth hanging on the wall it won't come cheap.
