Hello,
This is my first post here, so a big hello to everyone. I tried to reconcile this with Alesis and though they gave it their best effort they capitulated and suggested I try the forums--so here I am. I acquired a Quad GT from a previous owner that had created and stored all his own patches. No big deal I thought, as I knew the factory presets were easily recallable. Turns out not to be the case--at least for my unit. I tried the method described in the reference manual to no avail. I also tried holding down the PROGRAM and BYPASS button upon powering up. That proved futile as well. Alesis tried to send me a sysex data of the GT presets, but it turned out to be a bum file on their end.
My question is two-fold: Does anyone either know an alternative method to recalling the factory presets and thus overwriting the custom ones from the previous owner OR does anyone have a sysex file of all the original factory presets for the Quad GT that they could send to me? Thanks in advance for the help.
