Hi all,

I'm searching for a VST/DXI plug-in wich can produce electricity sounds wich I could control the frequencies and modulations from an external clock (in Sonar).

Does anyone knows any free plug-in I could check out see if it's doing what I'm looking for.

Or a link to the product page where I could buy it would be excellent.

Thanks

Dunno bout a vst...

I did discover that this month's Future Music has some Sony FX sounds.. a few of them are electricity.... Some of them are almost worthless though..

Sorry I couldn't help ya with the vst....

Check out Dr. Tikov's Radio plugin:

Psychic Modulation's ph0ne:

For more Alienesque type sounds, check out some of the H.G. Fortune plugins like STS-21:

or ASET-2121:

I have had really good luck with Green Oaks Crystal which is extremely flexible with Mod routings, morphing etc., especially if you load in some custom soundfonts. Got get it:

If you wan't to design similar custom sounds from scratch, then check out plugins by Toby Bear, and Smart Electronix (A whole group of different plugin makers). They have all sorts of various bit crushers, granular plugins, and other similar plugins for really meessing up sounds, and turning them into digital weirdness. Especially check out some of the DestroyFX (Smart Electronix), plugins, where you can manipulate your computers audio buffer in realtime, and Bram's (also S.E.) Cyanide is simply the best Waveshaper out there.

This is just a short list, there are tons more available. Spend sometime downloading at KVR.

Thank you,

I downloaded them, I like the Crystal plug-in. Maybe I could use this for some parts, so it might be usefull, but I admit synths are complicated for my little guitar player brain. I messed with it but I can't the electric sound I'm looking for. I basicaly don't know what I'm going :-)

Maybe if someone have some spare time and could make a preset close to this, that would make very happy. That's pretty much what I'm looking for, but I would need to get control over it instead of just a wav playing.

Anyway thanks for the link for the plug-ins.

Hey I'll work out a Preset for you. Not a problem. Give me a couple of days though, I have a busy couple of days ahead of me, OK. I'll PM you when I finish it.
