I'm a bit of a newbie to the PC DAW recording thing but I've recorded quite a few tracks now of a friend of mine who writes and plays his own songs. I thought I'd post a link to my webpage where you can download some of them and ask for the general opinion and any helpful hints people might have.

This was done at home with a combination of DI and an Audix OM3xb. Sonar to mix and Cooledit to bump up the volume when I'm done. (I always end up exporting to .wav from sonar about 3db quieter than I want, can't seem to fix it).
I'm using a charming SBLive! DE and Yamaha YMF724 with a Behringer Eurorack 802A mixer that I modified to have direct outs (post fader) from all the channels. That lets me record four mono channels simultaneously though I don't do it all that often.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What I'm trying to achieve is a clean natural sound as that is the way it is performed.
Thanks
