I have an application that requires recording many (more then 50 less then 100) short tracks on a CD, I would like to find a CDR that can record directly from the source (no pit stop on a hard drive) as there will sometimes be little time between recording tracks.
I also need the ability to record CD text, as many of the tracks will be almost identical and there will be many of them so I can label them w/ selection and take #'s.
A stand alone unit w/ some sort of a input device for CD text titles, or a computer based CDR drive that will record directly and allow the tracks to be cataloged w/ CD text
Not only all of the above, but it would be nice if it was relativly simple to operate (record, and stop buttons w/ a way to input the cd text info between tracks, either before recording or imeadiatly after each individual track) as it will be operated by many people w/ little time for extensive training.
Also I'm not certain but I think that CD text is recorded when the CD is finalized, so what ever I'm using would probably have to store the info in memory untill all was finished.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, and go ahead and laugh, I have a feeling that what I'm looking for doesn't exist (I sure couldn't find it anywhere) but It would make life much easier and save me alot of money.
Thanks in advanvce, feel welcome to Email any Ideas to me or post them.
