What's up.

I wanna buy an Audio Interface to my Macbook Pro for connection of a mic, turntable and synthesizer. 2 inputs is enough though, and 2 outputs. I'm serious in my music making but don't have too much money to spend. So far, I've found these:

Behringer FCA202:

Echo Audiofire 2:

M-Audio Firewire Solo (4 inputs but I could go for it cause of the XLR input):

Any recommendations on which one of these is best?
Any suggestions on other Interfaces?

Also, These are all Firewire. Is it necessary for carrying out recordings or could I save money and go for a USB Interface? And another thing, the Behringer and the Echo Interfaces have unbalanced inputs. If I connect a mic by converting XLR into Stereo Jack is this gonna have an effect on the connection?

Thanks for the help.
