hi guys, im new here

i had posted the same thread about this in the Free Ads board, but apparently it failed to be displayed  but if this is the wrong board to post this thread, please advise me.

im from Malaysia, and i recently moved to Auckland, New Zealand to study. im currently looking for an affordable studio to record a rap/hip-hop demo. my budget is around $100-$300 for the whole process: recording, mixing, mastering etc. i just wanna make a listenable demo, which i would not be embarrassed to give out to people, thus i dont aim for high quality s**t.

so i would appreciate it if anyone could recommend me any such cheap and good studios. home studios are cool too. also if there's any MAINZ students who wanna work with me on this demo, feel free to contact me. i got all the beats and the rhymes, i just need a place to record and do the post-production works. it would be better if you have an affinity towards underground hip-hop such as Jedi Mind Tricks, Necro, Juice and the likes, though i am open to work with anyone.

so if you have an interest in this ad, do email me and we'll try to work the details out. hit me back.

Peace !

And immediately get a good beginner recording book (spend $20 before spending hundred$/thousand$) that shows you what you need to get started and how to hook everything up in your studio:
Home Recording for Musicians by Jeff Strong - $15

(Wish I'd had that when I started; would have saved me lots of money and time and grief)

where have i read this post before? it sounds familiar
