Right now i use N-track to record my acoustic stuff, which it works great for, but thats only like 2 or 3 tracks. If i use anymore it will either freeze or crash. Now i have a 3 peice band and I was thinking about getting something like a Fostex MR8HD 8-Track Digital Recorder with 40GB Hard Drive or something like it but i have no idea if they are worth the money.
This is my plan if i buy a recorder. My Marshall and the bass players amp both have line outs so i can run them straight into the recorder and then mic the drums using our pa and run a lineout from the pa into the recorder. Will this work?
I dont have much money... well pretty much nothing right now. but i have a guitar im trying to sell (Yamaha GRX320FZ), i want 200 for it plus i have a 30 dollar credit on musicians friend becasue they really screwed me on my last order and i complained lol so they gave me 30 bucks. I was shooting for under 300 bucks for the recorder. any suggestions?
