Ok, now that i have all the basic equipment i need, i'm thinking that now is the time to treat my room. I've searched around, I'm learning, but i don't really understand how to apply it to my room. First, my room is where i record and mix. It's also my bedroom. I obviously don't want to do any treatment that will adversly effect monitering and mixing, or recording which could be a problem as they are both done in the same room. I want this to be a DIY project, i don't want necessarily just want to go out and buy things. I have access to all the tools i image i would need as well as a fair amount of wood. The two main requirements are: Nothing can be permenent. By this i mean, no new drywall or modification to the actual room. I would like any diffusers to be hung but if that isn't a good way to do it, drilling into studs isn't a big concern. Now with things like bass traps, every corner of my room is pretty much already filled up. The only one that isn't is the angled wall (see pic). As for the construction of the room, it's regular drywall (i don't know the normal thickness but whatever is usually used), insulated, hardwood floor. The roof is also sloped quite a bit. If anyone could give me some tips on where i should start, what types of treatment would benfit me, and placement of any treatment would help greatly. I know this probably comes up alot, i've tried to learn on my own but i feel that it's a bit over my head right now.
EDIT-Forgot to mention budget. Honestly, right now, no idea. I don't have alot to spend at once but i figure it will take time. I have a good amount of tools and wood laying around of various types so that may save some money.
