Anyone have a lead on a sliding rack tray? Something I can mount a couple of half rack pre's on and then be able to open like a drawer to access rear panel connectors without crawling around the back of the rack?

Regards, RD

Just build one. Get a 19" single slot face plate, and a couple of sliding rails from Home Depot.

I have a shit load of them in the basement. Where are you located? If you can pick it up (I don't want to ship) you can have 'em.

Thanks TR, but I'm out on the left coast, so your a little far. Appreciate the offer though. I hate dealing with shipping stuff too. :) I'll take the sightless caballero's advice and make one, just kind of DIY'd out right now. My little projects always turn out great, but the perfectionist in me (virgo) always has me takeing forever over the stupidest little details that no one will ever notice or appreciate.

Cheers, RD

DOHHHH!!!!! I missed it, too late. Thanks for the tip anyway pdlstl.

There were others. Keep looking. They're always on Ebay.

Middle Atlantic makes those sliding rack trays. I've got a couple of theirs and they work fine.

I have a 27 space shock mount Anvil case that has 6 sliding shelves made by Mid Atlantic (I think that's the brand name). They're extremely heavy duty and work great. They also weigh a ton.
