Looking for a MIDI controller (keyboard) < $250

I am currently using an M-AUDIO Keystation 49e. The controller has worked well for me over the past several years but I am now looking to upgrade to something better. I am specifically looking for a keyboard that has a smoother key action / response than the 49e which feels a little stiff.

Any recommendations?
