I will try and put up a step by step pictorial on this as I get them completed.They are just huge pipe insulators in different sizes and look to be 2" 705 type insulation. I like the "broadband" characteristic of them so I will be absorbing pretty good at all frequencies.
Hey you guys I am open to any suggestions. I am thinking maybe a pegboard backing to even further break up the waves.
 
That's fricken great! I see those used ALL the damn time where I work when I watch pipe fitters work. Why didn't I ever think of that??? :D Awesome idea man. Yeah, give some instructions on whatever you come up with.
 
If you have any left over, feel free to send them to me. I love DIY and can see a lot of potential for those. Keep us posted on how your project goes, and let us know how well they work.
 
You can find those at any hardware store. They're insulation for steam pipes.
